Duane started Crossfit in 2014. He played high school basketball and baseball before joining the U S Navy. After the Navy he began working in the HVAC field which lead him to a career in the shipyard. Along this journey he had gained and lost weight repeatedly. In 2012 with the help of running and proper nutrition he was able to keep the weight off but became bored with only cardio. After 2 years of that routine he found Crossfit and has never looked back. Duane enjoys strength training but loves a good chipper especially if it includes HSPUs and rope climbs.
